Overview

GamesRamp respects the intellectual property rights of game developers, publishers, and content creators. We have implemented procedures in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to address copyright infringement concerns on our platform.

If you believe that content on GamesRamp infringes your copyright, we will take appropriate action to investigate and, if warranted, remove the allegedly infringing material upon receiving proper notification.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

To report a claim of copyright infringement, please send a written DMCA notice to our designated agent at: contact@gamesramp.com

Your DMCA notice must include the following information as required by law (17 U.S.C. § 512©(3)):

  1. Your Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of Copyrighted Work: Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, provide a representative list of such works.
  3. Identification of Infringing Material: Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, including information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material on our platform (e.g., game title, URL, specific page location).
  4. Your Contact Information: Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. Accuracy and Authority Statement: A statement that the information in your notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Important: Please be specific and provide as much detail as possible about the allegedly infringing content. For games, please include the game title, URL, and clear explanation of how your copyright is being infringed.

Our Response Procedure

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  1. Review the notice to ensure it meets DMCA requirements
  2. Investigate the claim promptly (typically within 3-5 business days)
  3. Take Action if infringement is confirmed:
    • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
    • Notify the content provider (if applicable) of the removal
  4. Respond to you confirming the action taken or explaining why no action was taken

Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us.

Your counter-notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its previous location
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your judicial district (or if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which GamesRamp may be found)
  6. A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice

Repeat Infringer Policy

GamesRamp maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, content providers or users who are repeat infringers of copyright.

False Claims Warning

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents:

May be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees.

Making false claims of copyright infringement is illegal and may result in serious legal consequences.

If you are a game developer or publisher and would like to report unauthorized use of your games on our platform, we encourage you to:

  1. Contact us first at contact@gamesramp.com to discuss the issue
  2. If necessary, follow the formal DMCA notice procedure outlined above
  3. Provide clear proof of ownership and specific URLs of infringing content
